A baby shower is a very special time for any woman, and it is also a very good time for her friends to all get together and show their support for the new mother to be.
There are no hard and fast rules about baby showers except for one. The only person who should NOT organize the baby shower is the expectant mother – she has enough on her plate already. So what do you do it you decided to throw a friend or family member a baby shower?

There are also fun alternatives like email, sms, mms or even creating a small little website yourself that people can log on to and indicate whether they are coming or not.
Unique baby shower invitations might cost a bit to create and send out, so, if you have taken on the baby shower responsibility, do not be shy to ask for donations from other friends and family members. Throwing a baby shower should never be a pain and everyone will be more than happy to help contribute to a very joyous celebration.
Remember, it is always a good idea for the invites to match the theme of the baby shower so, decide on a theme before you do the invites and try and create the theme of the party in the invitations themselves.
