Creative Baby Shower Gifts
Have you been invited to a baby shower? If you have you probably want to come up with a creative baby shower gift to make the expectant parents feel extra special.
So where does a person go to find a truly creative baby shower gift?
The local department store is a good start. If nothing can be found there, an area mall usually has at least one store devoted to babies and gifts for babies. Still nothing? Then get on the internet and start surfing the web. It doesn’t really matter where you come up with that creative gift, it’s just important that you do find a truly unique and creative baby shower gift for your expectant friends.
Every baby needs diapers, right? But that isn’t a very creative gift. However, what if the package of diapers were opened, folded as though ready to be put on a baby, and then arranged around 3 or 4 clothes hangers that had been spread out until they were a circle, still with the half circle hanger part so as to still hang from a nail or curtain rod?
The diapers can be fastened to the hanger from the back with assorted colored diaper pins.
Then as the final touch, baby bottles, rattles, any small object which has to do with a baby can be tied on the front with ribbons. What is the final result? A truly creative baby shower gift of a diaper wreath!
Another gift idea to create with diapers is to again open the packages of diapers, (this gift may take 3 packages), and to fold the diapers all in half, then roll them into rolls resembling rolls of paper towels. Place twelve of the rolls standing on end, snuggly together in a circle; tie with a ribbon. Repeat this step, placing each ribbon banded group on top of the previous banded group. The finished product should have either three or four tiers of diapers much like a wedding cake. Place objects such as teddy bears on top and on each tier. The result? Another creative baby shower gift of a diaper cake!
