Winnie the Pooh Baby Shower

When giving a baby shower and trying to select a ‘theme’ for the shower, a person cannot go wrong with a Winnie the Pooh baby shower.

Winnie the Pooh is a much loved figure adored by young and old alike.   All the characters which accompany Winnie are also loved, so the selection of Winnie the Pooh guarantees the shower to be a success.

The next step is the fun part-decorating for the Winnie the Pooh baby shower.

The decision of which is to be used do-it-yourself decorations or purchased decorations should be made before beginning to decorate.  The person who wants to make the decorations can again, get a vast array of ideas, free clipart, etc., from the internet.

If the decision is made to decorate with purchased decorations, Winnie the Pooh can be found with absolutely no problem, usually in a price range competitive with much plainer decorations.    Some of the basic items needed for the shower will be plastic silverware (this is even available with Winnie the Pooh on it),  paper plates,  napkins, and tablecloths.

After the basics are taken care of, it is time for the actual decorating!  Every table needs a centerpiece.  A very cute centerpiece is also very easy to complete.  Simply place a stuffed pooh bear in the center of the table; it can be embellished by surrounding him with smaller stuffed toys of all his friends.  For the gift table?  Do the same thing, only make sure pooh is holding a gift; if surrounded by his smaller friends, have them holding smaller gifts.  These center pieces are easy to make, and also make extra gifts for the coming baby.

A Winnie the Pooh baby shower would not be complete without a Winnie the Pooh sign, adorned with Winnie the Pooh balloons at the street corner and driveway, to guide the guests to the baby shower.
